Chat Code of Conduct

Always have a nice manner during chat. Remember to follow the rules and instructions given by operators. If you have any problems during your time online, please seek assistance from the helpdesk.
While in your own chat room you are expected to uphold the Terms of Service. It is up to you and your moderators to make sure chatters feel safe and welcome within your chat room. Should we a get a report of TOS Violation, a staff member will be sent to investigate and take action if necessary. Users are to follow the instructions given by moderators in user created rooms. They reserve the right to refuse entrance of any particular person, within the boundaries of the Terms of Service.
We want to provide a caring environment. Therefore any swearing, abusing, racial remarks, sexual comments, rude gestures, threats, or other disreputable actions, messages or documents are forbidden within official V5N chat rooms. It is expected in user-created rooms that this is kept to a minimum.
As a member, you are not allowed to flood chat rooms, attack a user, staff member or the server through any means or disrupt the server in any way.
Just respect everyone and everything. No one forces you to use this service. No offensive content, no acts of terrorism or law breaking. These matters are taken very seriously, and the correct authorities will be alerted. Do not bring V5N into Disrepute.
Staff will act upon rule breakages by following their guidelines. Please contact helpdesk if you feel the staff guidelines have been breached.
You are required, when asked by ADMINS to provide real information about yourself or others for security issues, management issues, or anything deemed appropriate by management. This is subject to our Privacy Policy.
V5N allows the use of mIRC scripts on the server. mIRC has its own basic rules which must also be followed. This also means NO annoying scripts which also includes any ‘auto’ scripts (within official rooms)
